Creative writing & storytelling for children – every Saturday

Williamson Art Gallery & Museum, Slatey Road, Birkenhead, Wirral, CH43, Saturday mornings, 11am-12:30pm

  • Are you the next J.K. Rowling, Jacqueline Wilson or David Walliams?
  • Do you need some help with your English?
  • Do you have lots of stories in your head that you want to tell other people about?
  • Do you spend hours in the library trying to find a book you haven’t already read and think you might just write one yourself?
  • Do you want to see your own stories published?

Why not join the fun-filled themed Creative Writing Workshops for Children?

Subjects include:

  • Plotting the plot! – Let’s start at the beginning.
  • The good, the bad and the ugly…. – Creating characters.
  • Who said what? – Telling the story and dialogue.
  • Where, when and how? – Themes, dilemmas and settings.

The workshops help with English in the classroom and boosts confidence. Aimed at primary school children, the sessions cost £10* per week and every year the children’s stories will be published in an anthology under our sister project “All Write Now!”

Her are some quotes from other Read Now Write Now workshops

  • “Best after school club”
  • “Awesome”
  • “Had a brilliant time’
  • “You Have certainly made an impression, inspired and fired her imagination!”
