Gramophone Ray Gun 9 poetry night, 15 February

Everyman Bistro, Hope Street, Liverpool, 15 February, 8pm

Gramophone Ray Gun is a ‘live’ series of events celebrating experimental approaches to writing, poetry and music.  Alternating between the page, performance, sound and text, Gramophone Ray Gun is a regular ‘live’ platform commissioned by The Dock Road Press.

The ninth event includes innovative poetic readings from, Ade Jackson, Jessica Tillings and Johnathan Raisin each punked up on queer language and jazz abstraction.

As per usual, the evening will unfold to a crepuscular soundscape of unearthly samples and music excavated from a U.F.O crash site in Crosby. Unfortunately, due to contractual reasons, there will be no appearance of the giant ant.
