Stephen Taberner and Jack Sice

Stephen Taberner and Jack Sice in concert, 6 December

West Kirkby Arts Centre, Wirral, 6 December, 7.30pm

Stephen Taberner, better known as the whimsical mastermind behind the Spooky Men’s Chorale offers for public amusement a musical wrestle to the death with his beloved double bass B, which typically involves a highly charming collection of songs, some moody, some funky, and some downright ridiculous. For this pointless spectacle, he will be joined by fellow spooky man Jack Sice (Ukelele/Guitar/Vocals), who has seemingly mastered the difficult art of not only sounding beautiful in his own right, but subtly enhancing whatever else is happening at the time….which may ultimately involve the recruitment of the glorious and/or un-formed musical talents of the audience.

Doors open at 7.30pm – 10pm. £10. Please note that there is no visitor parking in Brookfield Gardens as it is a residential street. Please respect the neighbours ability to park on the street where they live. Conveniently, the West Kirby Arts Centre is located 4 minutes walk from the train station and public parking at West Kirby Concourse. Of course, many may be able to walk and partake from the licensed bar.
