Build My Future Festival is a dynamic two day careers event that takes place in the heart of Liverpool. On the 16th and 17th of November, Northern Schools Trust host a full programme of presentations and interactive seminars to their cross-trust cohort of Year 12 students.
The unique programme provides students with access to unrivalled opportunities via motivational group conferences and separate sessions tailored to their professional curiosities. Now in its fifth year, Build My Future spans across 10 carefully selected locations within the Baltic Triangle – a renowned hub for some of the city’s most influential businesses.
Students are invited to register for the event, choosing one of 10 pathways. Options span from health and medicine, to digital, creative and even veterinary and engineering. From this, the afternoon programme is shaped to include sessions with the likes of University of Liverpool, Jaguar Landrover and Astra Zenica, depending on the individual’s career aspirations.
Establishing itself as the go-to event for careers guidance in the Northwest, Build My Future Festival is transforming the landscape of traditional careers support. With the support of external partners and academics, this is the only two day programme of its kind in the UK, providing Liverpool’s young people with unrivalled professional insight & the chance to explore their future career options proactively.
The event has been a huge success at Liverpool Life Sciences UTC over the last few years and has won numerous national awards including an Educate award. The festival expands year on year and this time around hosts students from Lifesciences UTC, North Liverpool Academy and The Studio School. The conference takes places on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th November in the Baltic Triangle, Liverpool.
