Gramophone Ray Gun 8 poetry night, 5 October

Everyman Bistro, Hope Street, Liverpool, L1, 5 October, 8pm

Gramophone Ray Gun is a ‘live’ series of events celebrating experimental approaches to writing, poetry and music.  Alternating between the page, performance, sound and text, Gramophone Ray Gun is a regular ‘live’ platform commissioned by The Dock Road Press.

The eighth event includes innovative poetic readings from, Bryony Bates, James Byrne and Scott Thurston each punked up on queer language and gulps of firewater.  As per usual, the evening will unfold to a crepuscular soundscape of unearthly samples and music excavated from a U.F.O crash site in Crosby.
