Liverpool Arts Society, Heebie Jeebies, Seel Street, Liverpool, L1, rehearsals start w/c 31 August
Liverpool Arts Society are a collective of creative practitioners with the shared vision for future endeavours of the arts in Liverpool.
Recently, they have been running Immersive events in the city centre, their last event being a trip back to a 1920′s New York speakeasy. The events have a core story that run through the middle of them and also use smaller vignette styled scenes to entertain audiences.
Their r next event ‘HOMECOMING’ is a 1950′s American homecoming dance (PROM).
They’re on the hunt for more keen actors to join the team and to also get involved creatively in developing their idea. If you’re keen to join them, they’re looking at starting rehearsals week commencing 31st August and having 2 rehearsals per week. The event is on the 15th September in Heebie Jeebies and they’re expecting a great turn-out.
They think you should get involved because this is a completely different form of acting, it will test you and will make you work in ways you haven’t before. It really gets those creative juices flowing and it is great to be part of a team that together develop a project that is so innovative. It is a great opportunity to work with other creative in the city and to work with a new company.
The event is backed by the likes of Independent Liverpool and Made In Liverpool and will be covered by many of Liverpool’s leading media outlets. Another great opportunity for you to develop and further your career.
