Liverpool ONE, Liverpool City Centre, 7 July – 3 September 2017
Daily during store opening hours
Tickle the Ivories heads back to the streets of Liverpool ONE from 7 Jul – 3 Sept and we’re on the lookout for performers to take part. Whether you’re a professional pianist or a passionate amateur, or prefer rock ‘n’ roll to Mozart and Bach, you can get involved by booking a slot to perform on, or around, one of the six pianos.
Over the last six years Tickle the Ivories has seen a huge variety of performers taking part, with hundreds of local musicians, choirs, theatre groups and dance groups taking the opportunity to wow passers-by. Now it’s your turn! Don’t miss an amazing opportunity to have your music heard, or your act seen, by thousands of people; or even just to simply enjoy performing!
Who can perform?
Tickle the Ivories is open to everyone. Solo pianists, bands, community groups, choirs, dance goups, musical theatre groups, dance groups, and school choirs or music groups are all invited to take part. All we ask is that your performance somehow incorporates the piano; other than that, all performance styles are welcome!
All Tickle the Ivories performers are licensed to busk and keep all the proceeds they make. Please read the Code of Practice for more information.
