Join us for a night of great music and dance as last years winner Paris hands over her crown to our new carnival queen who will lead the samba schools in saturday night’s parade in the city centre.

Saturday 15 July at main stage Pier Head Village
Live music all day!

Singer/songwriter Aleh Ferreira brings his own brand of Brazilian Soul to the festival. Ferreira is well-known for his soundtracks for films, Brazilian TV shows and national and international serials. For Brazilica, he will play with his band formed of Brazilian, Italian and English musicians.

The nighttime parade starts at 8pm Abercromby Square through the city and ends at Williamson Square.
