Walker Art Gallery, William Brown Street, Liverpool, L3, 24 March – 18 June
Can art help us to see things differently?
This exhibition shows how artists in the past and present have used transparent materials, forms and ideas about transparency to explore how we see and experience the world.
‘Transparency’ features sculpture, painting, photography and video by artists including Wolfgang Tillmans, Camilla Low, Emily Speed, Christine Borland and Damien Hirst. It was originally conceived by Yorkshire Sculpture Park and was displayed there in 2016. The exhibition has been specially adapted for the Walker Art Gallery and features additional artworks and resources.
