Liverpool guitarist/composer Neil Campbell has been described by Classical Guitar Magazine as  ‘an outstanding guitarist whose originality of thought makes him far more than just another gifted purveyor of finger acrobatics’ and by Get-Into-This (Sean Bradbury) as ‘a man whose fingers have the ability to harness any imaginable sound in any given style’. On the afternoon of Saturday 25th March (2pm) he will perform a free admission solo concert in the stunning and yet intimate environment of Liverpool’s Hornby Library.

Neil’s music draws on elements of contemporary classical, progressive rock, jazz and other musical styles and his output includes pieces for solo guitar, guitar and cello, songs, instrumental pieces and choral music. He has performed and recorded critically acclaimed albums with The Neil Campbell Collective, Bulbs, The Perri and Neil Quartet (with vocalist Perri Alleyne-Hughes) and others.
