Award winning dance company Movema are pleased to announce that they are
set to open a new city centre studio at the site of the former Cains Brewery.
Movema have become a leading force on the Merseyside dance scene and work
with LIPA and Mersey Care NHS Trust to produce the Moving Minds mental
health care programme as well as host the Active Zone at Africa Oye festival.
Now, after celebrating their seventh birthday and winning an EPIC Award for
youth dance, the company is set to enter an exciting new era with the creation of the Movema World Dance Studios.
An open day, at the studio at Cains Brewery in the Baltic Traingle, will take place
on Friday, April 29, where you can meet the team.
There will also be a week of free taster classes starting on Monday, May 2, where
you can try zumba, dancehall, beginner’s ballet, pilates and yoga.
