Looked After Children and Young Carers

exploring the collections of Williamson Art Gallery & Museum

An exciting opportunity to become an Artist-in-Residence at Williamson Art Gallery & Museum in Wirral working with Looked After Children and Young Carers.

Wirral Museums Service has secured funding from Arts Council England to support this post on a fixed term contract. 

We are looking for a skilled and experienced community artist that can support children and young people to explore their creativity across a range of 2D and 3D artforms. 

This post will be based on an annualised hours contract which will require the post holder to work up to 806 hours per year with a salary circa£8,400 per anuum  with holiday, sick pay and related benefits.  The patterns of work will be negotiated between the post holder, representatives of the target groups and the Museums Service.  This will include evening, weekend and school holiday working.
